The heart of the fly / circulation of blood
A solo-exhibition and installation including the works, The heart of the fly / circulation of blood and The Fly Cage.
The exhibition took place in a former safe deposit box at the pervious Han Herred Nature Center, Fjerritslev (DK), 2003.

The heart of a fly / circulation of blood consists of a 400 times enlargement of a blowfly. The principal organ of circulation in the blowlfy is the dorsal vessel. In the thorax consists of a simple muscular tube, the aorta. In the abdomen, the vessel has the typical features of a tubular heart with valved openings or ostia. The tubular heart spans five segments, also called heart chambers.
The Fly Cage. A flytrap with twigs and without the electric shock effect, which is normally killing the flies, when they're approaching the light. Documentation from 2002.
